We have our own fleet of containers to meet the demands of our customers more efficiently. Our operations team is highly skilled and expert in documentation and the many requirements for purchases involving banks and financial institutions.

What is an NVOCC?

Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier. We issue our own bills of lading and take carrier responsibility without owning the vessel, giving clients direct control and competitive rates.

What operating our own line changes

An NVOCC that owns its equipment is in a materially different position to one that does not. When the market tightens, equipment shortage bites before space shortage does, and a forwarder without boxes is dependent on whoever has them. Our containers are ours: their positioning is a decision we make rather than a favour we ask for.

It also changes accountability. Because we issue the bill of lading, the carriage and the cargo handling sit on one file with one party answerable for both. There is no interval in which two companies each explain that the problem belongs to the other.

Documentation and banking

Issuing our own house bills means we control the wording, which matters when a letter of credit specifies it. Our operations team is experienced in the requirements of banks and financial institutions — presentations, switch bills where the transaction requires confidentiality, and the certificates that accompany them.

The two lines

• PARS Line — operating from the UAE, primarily on the UAE–Iran sector, directly registered in the United Arab Emirates with a registered stack at Jebel Ali port.
• PVS Shipping Line Ltd — operating from the United Kingdom, serving European, Chinese, UAE and Iranian ports.

Both issue their own bills of lading and both draw on the same container fleet, so cargo can move under whichever line suits the transaction and the counterparties involved.
