Europe ↔ Middle East specialists

PSS Lines has gained vast expertise in providing logistics services for large-scale industrial projects and Oil & Gas EPC contractors. We simplify project transportation with the best solutions and hands-on expertise.

With specially trained employees and agents at major business hubs worldwide, we provide break bulk solutions for non-containerized cargo and complex shipments. Project transport between the Far East, Europe and the Middle East is our specialty.

Core capabilities

  • End-to-end route surveys and feasibility studies — comprehensive road clearance, bridge load and port infrastructure assessments for super-heavy or over-dimensional loads.
  • Chartering and vessel solutions — full and part-vessel charters for break bulk, multi-purpose and heavy-lift vessels across trade lanes.
  • Customs clearance and multi-modal transit — seamless cross-border handling, duty management and integrated sea-to-inland heavy-haul transport under strict regulatory compliance.
  • Bespoke packing, lashing and securing — engineered seaworthy packaging, marine cargo survey oversight and dynamic load-securing compliant with international safety standards.

Oil & Gas

Experts in handling oil and gas equipment, machinery and pipes. We manage documentation, route surveys and heavy transport coordination from European suppliers to Middle East project sites.

Vehicle movements

Trusted to handle automotive shipments of well-known brands. RoRo, flat-rack and container options are available depending on vehicle type and destination requirements.

How a project move is planned

Project cargo is not large general cargo; it is a separate discipline in which the transport plan is engineered before anything is booked. The sequence matters: survey the route, establish the constraints, then select the equipment and the vessel — not the reverse. A charter fixed before the road survey is a charter that may not be usable.

We assess the physical route from the supplier’s gate to the project site, identify the binding constraint, and design around it. That constraint is rarely the ocean leg. It is usually a bridge, an overhead line, a gate width or a turning radius on the last twenty kilometres.

Working with EPC contractors

Project logistics is judged against a construction programme, not against a transit time. A component that arrives early occupies site space and cash; one that arrives late holds up a critical path with a daily cost attached. We plan to the required-on-site date and report against it, and we would rather raise a slippage early than present it as a completed fact.
